Police Log: Driver Reportedly Drinking Nips, Well-Being Check on Infant

Wednesday, Nov. 28
3:40 p.m.: A man reported he was being harassed by an insurance supervisor.
3:47 p.m.: Police checked on the well-being of a 3-month-old baby, whose mother was reported to be impaired.

4:38 p.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Main at Franklin streets, police arrested Rafael Torres Lopez, 22, of 11 Jacques Ave., Apt. 2, Worcester, on a warrant.
4:48 p.m.: Police assisted state Department of Children and Families at a home. DCF removed the child.

5:28 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters to report the theft of a phone.
7:44 p.m.: A dispute between neighbors on Oliver Court was relayed by State Police. Police checked and everything was OK.
8:29 p.m.: A woman reported she was waiting to pick her son up at Milford High School and saw someone in a car drinking nips. Police checked and it was a male waiting for his sister. No alcohol was in the car.
11:23 p.m.: A caller on Colonial Road reported an argument between his 20-year-old daughter and his wife.
Thursday, Nov. 29
6:26 a.m.: Two citations were issued for cars speeding on Purchase Street. The top speed was 43 mph.
12:23 p.m.: A one-car crash was reported on Interstate 495 southbound. One person was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.
2:55 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported at McDonald's on Medway Road. No injury was reported.
