Police Log: Domestic Assault Arrest, Man Charged with Impersonating Police Officer

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. When arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Nov. 25

3:36 p.m.: A caller reported a domestic dispute with her son. She said threats were made. Police responded.

4:14 p.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters and turned in a wallet he found in his backyard.

10:32 p.m.: A detective was investigating the theft of an iPhone.

11:21 p.m.: A caller near Planet Aid said there was a large trailer truck across from his house and it was keeping him awake. Police responded and the truck drove past the officer. She spoke to the driver.

Tuesday, Nov. 26

12:25 a.m.: A caller on Capitol Road reported loud music and or television noise coming from an apartment. Police checked and the noise level was OK.

6:12 a.m.: A caller reported a car had been broken into on Lee Street.

8:04 a.m.: A caller near Kohl's reported a large ball was in the road.

9:00 a.m.: A caller on Country Club Lane said someone had stolen a package from her porch on Monday. She saw the man, he was in his 30s.

10:59 a.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters and said someone had opened a credit card in his name.

11:36 a.m.: A woman on Hollis Street said she thought one of her aides had taken money from her wallet.

1:50 p.m.: An officer filed a theft report at Milford High School.

2:12 p.m.: A caller at Valero Gas reported someone had just left without paying for gas.

2:38 p.m.: A caller from Nassiff Fruit Company reported making a delivery to a business on Central Street and the check bounced.

5:21 p.m.: A caller reported a driver left Pearl Street about 30 minutes before and the driver was intoxicated. A BOLO was put out to all cars.

8:34 p.m.: A woman reported she had been threatened by her boyfriend. The man put his hands around her neck and threw her on the floor, she reported. She was now locked in a room in the house. Police responded and arrested Steven E. Miller, 47, of 2 S. Main St., Apt. 2B, Uxbridge, on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, domestic assault and battery, intimidating a witness and two counts of wanton destruction of property, more than $250.

9:42 p.m.: A caller on Mt. Pleasant Street said two men were at the door, and one was saying he was a cop. Police responded and arrested Jeffrey Thomas Enquist, 23, of 12 Birch St., Milford, on charges of impersonating a police officer, disturbing the peace and breaking and entering into a building in the nighttime for a felony.

10:07 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported in front of Milford Police Department headquarters. No one was injured.

11:14 p.m.: Police responded to Maher Court for a reported domestic dispute. 

11:29 p.m.: Police returned to Maher Court, after a caller said they were arguing even louder.

11:48 p.m.: The caller told police the people on Maher Court were at it again. Before police responded, the caller said they had calmed down.

Wednesday, Nov. 27

8:42 a.m.: A caller at JP Liquors reported a bad check had been passed at the store.

10:57 a.m.: A police officer reported he'd received a call from someone in a car who witnessed someone dumping a deer carcass on Fiske Mill Road.

11:23 a.m.: A police officer reported a man had just left the BP Gas station on Prospect Street with a pack of cigarettes, and had not paid.

11:32 a.m.: Medway Police reported a Honda CRV had passed two vehicles and a school bus on Medway Road.
