Police Log: Dog Feces Reported on Porch, Dead Animal Found Near TGI Friday's

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Thursday, Feb. 27

At 8:56 a.m., Milford police responded to a report of a two-car accident in the area of Dilla and Sumner streets. The accident involved a black Dodge Charger and a blue Volkswagen, and one female was reportedly stuck in a vehicle and unable to get out, according to police records.

At 10:38 a.m., police responded to a two-car accident in the area of Medway Road and Beaver Street involving a red Ford F-150 and a white Ford van.

At 4:24 p.m., police responded to a three-car accident in the area of East Main and Cedar streets. No injuries were reported. 

At 4:30 p.m., police received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Emmons Street, where it had not moved in more than 48 hours. Police checked the area and determined that all vehicles were legally parked in the vicinity.

At 4:40 p.m., police received a report from a Medway Road resident, who claimed someone had been in his house, with footprints appearing int he snow leading up to the front door, which was reportedly open. 

At 5:47 p.m., police responded to Fortune Boulevard on a report of a dead animal near TGI Friday's. Police notified Milford Animal Control. Records did not indicate what kind of animal was found in the area. 

At 9:46 p.m., police received a call from a Glines Avenue resident who claimed that someone had been placing dog feces on her front porch and noticed that several items had been missing from her kitchen. 

At 10:04 p.m., police received a report hit-and-run accident in the area of Florence Street in which a white Jeep Cherokee allegedly hit two vehicles before fleeing the scene.
