7:53 p.m.: A caller reported his girlfriend was making suicidal statements. She lives in Worcester, but frequents Milford. Police advised him to also report this to Worcester police.
8:25 p.m.: A caller reported a gold car was operating on Main Street, and the driver was possibly intoxicated. Police checked the area but the car was gone.
9:11 p.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters to report he believed he had hit a cat on Venice Street at Medway Road. He said he checked with several houses in the area, but could not locate an owner.
Wednesday, Jan. 9
4:43 a.m.: Firefighters responded to East Main Street, where a man, possibly intoxicated, had reportedly cut himself. He was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.
7:28 a.m.: A three-car crash was reported on Dilla Street, near the Water Company property. No one was injured.
9:21 a.m.: Police received a report of vandalism to a car parked at Milford High School.
11:06 a.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters with a wallet he found in front of a West Street home. A message was left for the owner, and her father came in and picked it up for her.
11:52 a.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters to report stolen medications.
12:52 p.m.: Police responded to for a report of a combative shoplifter. Police arrested Shannon T. Smith, 21, of 137 Maple Ln., Medway, on a charge of shoplifting by asportation, second offense.
3:28 p.m.: Police returned a black wallet to its owner.
