Police Log: Child Falls Out of Vehicle, Harassment from Landscapers

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, Aug. 13

6:41 p.m.: A large raccoon was hit on Green Street at Cape Road. It was injured, the caller said. Police could not locate the animal.

7:26 p.m.: A caller said she witnessed a young child fall out of a vehicle's window on Main Street, near Padaria Brasil Bakery. A woman picked the child up and then assaulted the child, the caller said. The driver put the child back in the vehicle and left up Fayette Street. Police filed a report.

9:07 p.m.: A woman was in the lobby to report her prescription medication had been stolen from her home.

10:08 p.m.: A caller said a heavy-set man had placed a 4-year-old Hispanic girl in his Cadillac, which had out-of-state plates. This happened near Main Street Market. It appeared as though the child shouldn't have been with the man, the caller said. Police could not locate the vehicle.

11:31 p.m.: Police arrested Arielle Ellen Attias, 24, of 7 Madden Ave., Milford, on charges of being a fugitive from justice on a court warrant, and on a warrant.

Wednesday, Aug. 14

11:19 a.m.: A woman said she found a wallet on Dominick Street. Police found the person it belonged to, who said they would come in to pick it up.

11:58 a.m.: A man on DiVittorio Drive said he was being harassed by landscapers.

1:55 p.m.: Police received a report of skateboarders in the area of Milford High School.

2:29 p.m.: A woman said her mail was being tampered with, on Hayward Street.

4:41 p.m.: A caller on Grant Street said her brothers were fighting. Police arrested Antonio Graziano, 27, of 9 Grant St., Milford, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.
