Police Log: Dog Bite, Mystery on 495

The following was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Tuesday, Aug. 7

12:57 p.m.: Police are seeking a summons to charge Michael J. Chapman, 23, of 90 Water St., Milford, with larceny of a credit card, receiving stolen property under $250 and uttering a falsely endorsed promissory note.

1:08 p.m.: A caller reported her son's iPod was stolen out of his hand on East Walnut Street. Police responded and arrested Christopher J. Aguiar, 22, of 6 Prentice Ave., Apt. 6, Milford. He was charged with larceny from a person.

4:05 p.m.: An employee at on Dilla Street reported a dog bite that happened between 58 and 56 Dilla St. It was initially unknown to whom the dog belonged. Police and animal control responded and located the dog.

5:21 p.m.: State Police reported a car on 495 between exits 19 and 20 was on the side of the road with a smashed window and a person on the ground outside of the car. Police and fire responded and reported seeing nothing. Bellingham police also found nothing further down the highway.

Wednesday, Aug. 8

9:36 a.m.: A bike was found on the bike path near the .

11:23 a.m.: A probation officer requested police respond to 56 Meade St. to pick up a female who had five warrants on her. Police arrested Justine A. Calagione, 25, of 56 Meade St., Apt. 3, and took her to Uxbridge District Court.

12:17 p.m.: A Debbie Lane resident wanted to speak to police about vandalism.

1:21 p.m.: A caller from Union Street reported a male party knocked on her door. She said she did not answer, but when she saw him walking away, he put something in his back pocket.
