Police Log: Assault with Dangerous Weapon, ICE Detainer

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, Feb. 3

5:55 p.m.: A caller reported a man was peeping in her window on Pheasant Circle. Police responded and were attempting to speak to the person she thought was involved.

6:11 p.m.: A caller reported a possible domestic on South Bow Street. She said she could hear a baby crying non stop and yelling between a man and a woman. Police responded, and determined the child had an ear infection.

6:39 p.m.: A woman reported harassment from her stepfather.

6:44 p.m.: A caller reported a loud noise coming from the basement on Pearl Street, and said it was possibly a problem with the oil burner. Police and firefighters responded, who investigated.

8:35 p.m.: A caller on Draper Park reported she had had a fight with her boyfriend. The caller disconnected before further information could be gathered. Police three minutes later received a call from a man reporting a domestic at the address with his wife, and said she pushed him down the stairs. An ambulance responded but he declined treatment. Police arrested Adriana Rodrigues Dacosta, 37, of 1 Draper Park, Apt. 1, Milford, on charges of domestic assault and battery and assault with a dangerous weapon. ICE notified Milford Police they would be issuing a detainer and would have an agent in contact soon.

Monday, Feb. 4

2:06 a.m.: Police assisted the male victim on Draper Park in obtaining a restraining order.

5:56 a.m.: An animal carcass was reported to be on Silver Hill Road. Milford Animal Control was contacted.

8:39 a.m.: A crash was reported on Intersate 495 at Exit 20. State Police reported the person involved had injuries to the neck and back. The person was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.

1:37 p.m.: A caller on Whip o Will Lane reported someone had possibly taken gasoline out of his wife's car. Police responded.
