Police Log: Arrest Follows Bar Fight, Domestic Violence

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Jan. 21

5:01 p.m.: A caller reported he was having a problem with a neighbor. Police responded but determined everything was OK.

8:09 p.m.: A woman asked for information on getting a restraining order and said she had been assaulted that night. Police responded and arrested Luis Saeteros, 24, of 151 S. Main St., Apt. A, Milford, on a charge of domestic assault.

9:43 p.m.: Police and EMTs responded to John Smith Sports Center, where a 50-year-old man was suffering from a possible shoulder injury, or a rib injury. He was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.

9:55 p.m.: A bartender at TD's Pub called police to report a man had gotten into a fight with another man, and then vandalized a vehicle. He then left the bar heading toward Main Street, bleeding from the mouth. Police responded to the bar, then Congress Street, and arrested Brett N. Cronin, 21, of 41 Carroll St., Milford, on charges of disorderly conduct, wanton destruction of property more than $250, and disturbing the peace.

10:06 p.m.: A caller reported the people who live above her on Grant Street were making a lot of noise, and would not quiet down although she spoke to them. Police resolved the issue.

10:08 p.m.: Police responded to an apartment above Silver Hanger Cleaners, where a man requested police for an undisclosed problem. An officer spoke to the man and determined his wife was upset over a dispute with a neighbor.

10:54 p.m.: A woman on Court Square reported her boyfriend was refusing to let her leave the home with thier children. She reported no assault.

Tuesday, Jan. 22

8:39 a.m.: A caller reported a vehicle had been parked in the back of Dana-Farber Brigham and Women's Cancer Center for a few days, and asked to speak to an officer.

9:13 a.m.: A two-car crash was reported on Beaver at East Main Streets. A police sergeant took one woman to her home following the crash. An ambulance was called to evaluate a second person.

10:11 a.m.: A caller reported a truck grill was in the middle of the road on Cedar Street.

10:25 a.m.: A caller asked to speak to an officer about a scam.

11:33 a.m.: Vandalism was reported at Middle School East.

12:17 p.m.: An officer reported another incident of vandalism at Middle School East.

1:34 p.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters to report a gold chain was possibly stolen from a home on Ferguson Drive. He was not sure if he lost it, or if it was stolen.
