Police Log: A Suicide Attempt, A Fire, And A Hit And Run

At 3:38 a.m., police arrested a man for domestic assault and battery following a call from his child’s mother on School Street. She reported him kicking her out of the home and pouring liquor on her. The responding officers requested an additional unit. The female party was transported to another location. The male party received medical treatment while he was being booked.

At 6:01 a.m., police responded to a call reporting tires slashed on vehicles at Carroll Street.

At 8:27 a.m., police were at the scene of a two car accident at Main Street. The vehicles involved were a white Toyota and a Red Honda.


At 8:55 a.m., police received a call from a resident of Fountain Street reporting he was being harassed by a woman who lives up the street.

At 9:51 a.m., police responded to a suicidal male, possibly with a knife on School Street. The female caller was waiting in a grey van. She said the male party has mental issues and has tried this in the past.


At 10:40 a.m., police assisted the Department of Children and Families requested officers to assist with a baby being removed from a house on School Street. All parties involved went to the police department to interview with the Department of Children and Families.


At 12:16 p.m., police officers assisted the Milford Animal Control Department in dealing with a skunk on Fiske Mill Road.


At 1:01 p.m., police were at the scene of a fire on Franklin Street. All parties were advised to leave the building and the incident was brought under control.


At 1:33 p.m., police responded to reports of a hit and run on Main Street.


At 2:40 p.m., police served a resident of Lyndon Road with two restraining orders.


At 9:45 p.m., police responded to an accident involving two cars that took place in front of the station on Main Street.


At 10:41 p.m., police responded to a call reporting suspicious activity on Fortune Boulevard. The Caller reported a man in a white shirt and a baseball cap asking random women for jumper cables. The vehicle he had in his possession was listed as stolen. The man was arrested and the vehicle owner was contacted.
