Police Log: 10-year-old with Toothpick in Foot, Harassment by Pizza Orders

Monday, Aug. 12

7:29 p.m.: A caller reported suspicious activity outside a house that no one lives in. She said many cars have been stopping there lately, and people in the building with flashlights. Detectives were investigating.

Tuesday, Aug. 13

5:54 a.m.: An officer assisted a caller with a cat.

10:15 a.m.: A caller said while she was away, someone stole her packages on Prairie Street.

12:39 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported near Friendly's Restaurant on Medway Road. Injuries were reported.

12:46 p.m.: A caller said a 74-year-old woman went out for a walk and had not returned. State Police then called, saying the woman had been found.

1:42 p.m.: A Jeep Cherokee was repossessed on Mount Pleasant Street.

2:16 p.m.: A 10-year-old boy stepped on a tooth pick and it became stuck in his foot. An ambulance responded and took him to Milford Regional Medical Center.

2:22 p.m.: Several officers responded to Julian Lane. Police arrested Charles William Tetrault, 23, of 15 Julian Lane, Milford, on charges of receiving stolen property more than $250, using a motor vehicle in a felony/larceny and a warrant. Police arrested Kassaundra L. Fisher, 24, of 15 Julian Lane, Milford, on a warrant.

2:39 p.m.: A woman asked to speak to an officer about an ongoing problem with her landlord.

3:24 p.m.: A man said he had received an envelope addressed to "Whomever it may concern" and it had six faces inside, cut out of magazines. He asked police to log the information.

4:41 p.m.: An employee at Hannaford Supermarket said a man had attempted to take four razor packages. The employee had the items, and the man had fled on foot. Police responded.

4:48 p.m.: A caller reported another woman was harassing her by sending pizza to her home from different pizza shops. According to the police narrative, the two women involved might be coming in to talk to an officer.

5:16 p.m.: A caller said three toddlers, ages 2, 4 and 5, were left outside on Senate Road and were unattended. Police responded and found the children with a cousin and a mother.

5:29 p.m.: A detective and an officer responded to Walker Avenue Extension. Police arrested Robert A. Murphy, 56, of 29 Walker Avenue Ext., Apt. 20, Milford, on two warrants.
