Milford Police, with assistance from Boston Police, arrested two men in Dorchester Wednesday night on charges relating to a home invasion robbery in Milford.

Milford Police have arrested two men in Dorchester involved in a home invasion reported on Sept. 29 in Milford, police announced in a press release.

Rashad Blount, 25, of 347 Bowdoin St., Apt. 2, Dorchester, and Richard Booker, 26, of 41 Courtland St., Apt. 2, Middleboro, were arrested at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday in the Fields Corner neighborhood of Boston. The men are accused of forcing their way into an apartment in Rolling Green, after posing as pizza delivery men. They, and a third assailant, robbed the tenants of about $7,000 in cash and checks, and brandished a handgun, said Detective Jason Ball. The man and the woman inside the apartment were not injured, but were held at gunpoint.

The woman was required to stay in the living room, while the man was forced into a bedroom, and told to hand over the cash. He was tied up before the suspects left the building, Ball said.

The couple were newly married. The cash and checks were from their wedding, Ball said. Although they did not know the assailants, the assailants knew they had the cash from the wedding.
