Milford Residents React to Second Delay of Guaman Trial

Dozens have reacted on Facebook and Milford Patch.

The second delay of a trial for Nicolas Guaman, who is accused of hitting and killing a Milford motorcyclist with his truck in 2011, has sparked a contentious reaction amongst Milford residents.

Guaman, an Ecuadorian citizen who is reportedly in the U.S. illegally, is facing numerous charges in connection with the death of Milford's Matthew Denice in 2011

The bench trial for Guaman had originally ben set for April 3, but was rescheduled to Wednesday, May 8. A judge, however, determined that the trial would need to be delayed again until at least Monday, May 12, as the court sought an appropriate interpreter.
