UPDATED: Police Investigating Camp Street Car Crash that Sent One to Hospital

One person was reportedly trapped in a vehicle accident on Camp Street.

Milford police are actively investigating a car crash on Camp Street Sunday afternoon that sent one person to the hospital. 

The driver of the vehicle involved is still alive but undergoing treatment for injuries, according to Milford Police Sgt. John A. Sanchioni.

It is currently unknown what  caused the vehicle to strike the utility pole, Sanchioni said.

Emergency Medical Services are on the scene of a serious motor vehicle accident in the area of Camp Street and Pine Island Road. 

A victim was reportedly trapped in a vehicle, with crews using the Jaws of Life on scene.
