Divers Recover Body of Missing Teen in Milford Quarry

Rescue crews reportedly recovered a body 70 feet deep into the waters.

Rescue crews on Monday morning reportedly located the body of an 18-year-old Rhode Island man who went missing at the Fletcher Quarry in Milford on Sunday. 

Milford police and fire crews, with the assistance of regional Fore technical units and dive teams from fire and the Massachusetts State Police responded to the quarry on Sunday after five teens had been jumping off a cliff into the waters, and one of them failed to resurface

Search efforts resumed Monday morning for the missing teen, and divers recovered the body around 10:14 a.m. Monday, according to NECN

Milford Police Chief Thomas O'Loughlin said Divers from the Massachusetts State Police recovered the body about 70 feet into the water using sonar, according to 7 News. Moreover, the body was found about 10 feet away from a cliff at the quarry, according to MyFoxBoston

The victim in the incident was identified early Monday as Nentor Dahn, 18, of Providence, Rhode Island, according to CBS Boston.
