Compliance Checks Coming for Liquor Establishments in Milford
Police will be conducting the checks throughout the month of May.
The Milford Police Department plans to check all liquor establishments in town this month.
The checks will be conducted by plain clothes officers during the month of May as part of an effort combat underage drinking in town, Milford Police said Wednesday.
The department recently received a $5,000 grant in an effort to combat underage drinking in town. Milford is one of 76 local police departments to receive the grant on a competitive basis of varying amounts between $3,500 and $15,000.
