A motorcyclist was taken to UMass Medical Center Tuesday afternoon after colliding with a minivan on East Main Street, according to Milford Police

The crash involved a motorcycle and a Honda minivan, which had been exiting the driveway at Acapluco's Restaurant and pulled out in front of the motorcycle, causing the collision.

The accident occurred nearly a week after a New Hampshire man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Rte. I-495 in Milford.

"Motorists have to be observant for motorcycles," Milford Police Chief Thomas O'Loughlin said. "Sometimes people miss them in the so-called blind spot of their mirrors."
