A 10-year-old boy taking a swim test at Fino Field pool in Milford on Sunday was rushed to the hospital after going into cardiac arrest, MyFoxBoston reported.
The boy was reportedly revived and transported to UMass Medical Center and listed in critical condition Sunday, according to WCVB.
"The efforts of the lifeguard at Fino Pool, the firefighters, paramedics, and Officer Robbie Tusino; followed by the extraordinary care provided by the doctors, nurses and other personnel at the Milford Regional Medical Center resulted in this young boy being revived so that he could be moved to and treated at UMass Medical Center in Worcester," Milford Police Chief Tom O'Loughlin told Milford Patch Sunday night. "He remains in critical condition at this time."
