There are 13 Level 3 and 36 Level 2 sex offenders living and working in Milford, according to the state Sex Offender Registry Board website.

Massachusetts has three classification levels for sex offenders with Level 3 for the most severe offenders who are most likely to recommit sex-related crimes. The names of Level 3 sex offenders are readily available from the police and they are listed in different public places.

Level 2 sex offenders have a moderate chance to reoffend. Residents can get the names of Level 2 sex offenders in their neighborhood by going to the police station and requesting that information. A state law that took effect last year will allow people the ability to search for newly classified Level 2 offenders just like Level 3 offenders.

Level 1 sex offenders have a low risk of reoffending. The names of Level 1 offenders are not available to the public.

More information on Milford’s sex offenders can be found on the state and Milford Public Safety websites.

Good idea, especially since lots of sex offenders teach or work at schools across the country. http://hotair.com/greenroom/archives/2014/01/21/campbell-brown-teachers-unions-are-fighting-efforts-to-keep-sex-offenders-out-of-classrooms/

"There are 13 Level 3 and 36 Level 2 sex offenders living and working in Milford, according to the state Sex Offender Registry Board website." That is to say there are 13 and 36 that we know about. My guess is there are far more than that in Milford for one reason or another.
