The Pizza Palace pic looks pretty tasty! I guess it's not a winner...does their pizza look like that pic? David....when the people who make the pizza are "nice" it probably taste better too.... Jim@ccfiile.com

Yes, I ordered that pizza for the photo and for lunch! And I've added the two that everyone is voting for, and I forgot to include in the poll.

If you are originally from NY and especially from the Bronx, then Sal's is the closest to that style. 19" 3lb pizza!! Hmmmmm.

Used to be Bidino's until the owners sold and the new onwers ran them out of business. Now my favorite is Hide-A-Way, and yes they are in Mendon but they deliver to Milford so that should count for something.

Mike.....That must be an interesting story..... Jim@ccfiile.com

When they sold the new owner wasn't planning on changing how the pizzas were made. They changed the sauce and started messing with the oven temp. We quit going after we picked up a pizza that was burnt yet the inside of the crust was raw. Never knew that could be done.

Garden Pizza, I have them to blame for living in Milford. My husband really wanted to move here and I was all against it, but then we stopped at Garden for pizza and I thought, "Well, how bad could it be there is good pizza here?"

OK, I lived in Chicago for two years. Eduardo's was the most amazing pizza I've ever had. Rich people used to order it and have it overnight air delivered all over the world. It was unbelievable. Now I wish I hadn't thought of it, because it is probably the thing I miss most about Chicago...

Where is that? You are the second to say that's the best.

By and large, Pizza Chef wins hands down!!!!

I'm glad to see Garden Pizza winning the poll - they're excellent, and they're right down the street from me, I get pizza and subs there all the time. The day I moved into my house in 1995, I stopped there and ordered 6 pizzas for delivery to feed my friends and family who were helping me move. Rosa's Villa is good too, and also in my neighborhood - they're on 140, in the plaza across from DQ.

pizza palace for me. Joe makes THE best Gluten Free pizza and takes exceptional care of not cross contaminating the food. Never had a gluten reaction eating from the Palace!
Mary MacDonald (Editor) January 21, 2012 at 12:58 PM
Oh! Now I know where they are. Sorry I forgot to include them in the poll.
Susanne Terrill January 21, 2012 at 01:19 PM
I have to vote for Bills too. Their large pizza is bigger than Papa Ginos large and they are very generous with the cheese and other toppings. Also they've never burnt my pizzas like the one in the photo from Pizza Palace.

I voted for Pizza Chef. Garden is good too, and Rosa's Villa makes those great sheet pizzas. There are lots of good choices in Milford, but I'll agree with Mike that Bidino's was the best. We were so sad when they sold.

I am torn between Napolean and Garden. We usually go to Garden because it is closer to us, but Napolean's specialty pizzas are awesome.

Pizza Chef deff has the best pizza in Milford by far!
Mary MacDonald (Editor) January 21, 2012 at 06:35 PM
Looks like the Pizza Palace forces are making a comeback! It has surged ahead, kind of like Newt.
Chuck Calagione January 21, 2012 at 06:37 PM
oliva's pizza is the best even though you may have to order it a day in advance..but it is well worth it!
Michelle January 21, 2012 at 07:31 PM
Sorry all you Pizza Chef fans but the last time I got a pizza there it was disgusting. My fave is Sciolis!
Abner ambert January 21, 2012 at 07:35 PM

Cynthia Caezza January 22, 2012 at 02:46 AM
PIZZA PALACE hands down! Cute pizza delivery men too!
Cynthia Caezza January 22, 2012 at 02:47 AM
Please don't compare Pizza Palace to Newt. Hahaahhha!
imokay January 22, 2012 at 03:46 AM
Pizza Chef and Garden
Myd Nevins January 22, 2012 at 04:05 PM
Pizza Chef but Hide-A-Way is a close second.
Michael January 22, 2012 at 06:28 PM
This is not a fair poll because of the exclusion of Rosa's Villa. I would also argue that the sheet pizza at Gene's Variety is better than all of them.
southpaw January 23, 2012 at 02:09 PM
The BEST pizza in Milford is from Gene's Variety! And their white pizza is to die for!!!
