Milford Jr Hawks Wins Ice Hockey Championship

The Milford Jr Hawks Hockey Team, made up of 6th, 7th and 8th graders from Milford Middle School won the New England Sports Center of Marlboro's Middle School Ice Hockey Championship with a thrilling 4-3 victory over Ashland Jr High. Milford had previously defeated Natick Jr High to earn a spot in the Championship game.the team ended it's season by going 18-3-2. The team is run by Head Coach Steve Motuzas and his Assistants Steve Bratica and Mike Balzarini. the team includes 8th graders Aiden Wilde, John Collins, Jacob Balzarini, Devin Manning, John Bae, Robert Price and RJ Stansbury. 7th graders Matt Shaver, Brendan White, Trevor Thomas, Kyle Tomaso, Alex Cody, Mike Harnett, Daniel Vasile, Kevin Spieglman, Tyler Thongpul, and Ryan Forget. 6th graders include Griffin Burns, Micheal Schmitt, Jack McCarthy and PJ Gray.
