Highlights of the Week

Here are some highlights of what took place this week:

  • Carroll Street residents complained about an on property owned by the town. One reader suggested it wouldn’t be difficult to clean up: “Put people to work that have unpaid fines... Have them do some community service to help pay them off.”
  • Spreading news quickly is one of the truly great uses of social media. This week, there was a at , due to possible salmonella contamination, and readers got the word out, sharing our story with their Facebook friends. Check your packages, everyone!
  • Milford Selectmen , a used car business on Route 140, prompting a wave of comments from readers. Many readers said they weren't surprised. On the other hand, another reader defended the business: “I bought a car from GV AUTO SALES never had any problem… they are good people.”

Social Media Page of the Week

We'd like to give some recognition this week to the Facebook page of . The local bowling and entertainment center expanded to Huntsville, AL this week.
