Robin (Holland) Lumenti, 37, Dies After Battle with Cancer

Robin L. (Holland) Lumenti, 37, a lifelong Milford resident, died Monday, Sept. 10, after a two year battle with cancer. She was the wife of Jim Lumenti.

Robin was a for more than 20 years before retiring in 2010.

She was born in Boston, the daughter of Marian (Martinos) Holland of Milford and the late Robert F. Holland. She graduated in 1994 from Milford High School. Robin loved her family deeply.

Robin and Jim would have celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary on Sept. 22.

In addition to her husband and mother, she leaves two sons; Jeffrey M. Stockwell Jr. and Antonio J. Lumenti; two brothers, Joseph E. Holland and Christopher L. Holland; one sister, Charissa A. Hendon, all of Milford; her father and mother-in-law, Ralph & Marie Lumenti; brothers-in-law, Gary J. Lumenti and Michael A. Lumenti; and a sister- in-law, Laurie Lumenti Garty. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 14, at 7 p.m. in the , 42 Congress St., Milford. Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, before the service.
