Obituary: Carol MacWilliam Stockton, Owner of La Roma Beauty Salon, Madame's Restaurant

Mrs. Stockton owned and operated La Roma Beauty Salon in Milford, and was a talented chef who enjoyed cooking.

Carol A. MacWilliam Stockton of Milford passed away Jan. 16, 2014 at her residence. She was the wife of Robert C. Stockton.
Carol owned and operated La Roma Beauty Salon in Milford for many years. Along with her husband, she co-owned a number of variety stores in the Greater Blackstone Valley and Rhode Island and most recently, owned Madame’s Restaurant in Upton.
Carol was born in Milford the daughter of Theresa A. (Beaudoin) MacWilliam Girard of Upton and the late Samuel MacWilliam. She was a graduate of Nipmuc Regional High School and the Kenneth School of Cosmetology in Framingham. As well as being a student at the Kenneth School, she was also an instructor.
She was a talented chef who enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and she excelled in making and decorating specialty cakes. However, her true passion was her love and dedication to her family and friends. She will be especially missed by her special “Little T.”
