Obituary: Anthony J. Nesta, 84, Active in Milford Senior Center, Italian-American Vets Club
Mr. Nesta was born in Milford, and died Tuesday following a period of declining health.
Anthony J. Nesta, 84, of Milford, died Tuesday at Milford Center-Genesis Healthcare after a period of declining health. He was the beloved husband of Elaine J. (Gibson) Nesta.
Mr. Nesta was born in Milford, the son of the late John and the late Rose (Pensato) Nesta. He attended Milford public schools and was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1946.
Mr. Nesta had been employed as a quality control inspector at Crosby Valve Company located in Wrentham, retiring in 1995. He was a longtime member if the Italian-American Veterans Post #40 of Milford, where he loved to play bocce. He also was an active member of the Milford Senior Center, where he loved to play cards.
Along with his beloved wife of fifty-four years, survivors include daughter Jyll M., wife of William Buckley of Milford; and son Gregory J. Nesta of Milford.
Funeral arrangements are being organized by Edwards Memorial Funeral Home.
