Obituaries: Louise Andreotti, Helen Andreotti, Arthur Luippold

The following residents of Milford have died in recent days.

Louise A. Andreotti, 98, of Milford, died Aug. 11 in the Medway Country Manor in Medway. She was born in Milford, daughter of the late Frederico and Rosa (DiMascio) Andreotti and was a lifelong Milford resident. She was educated in the Milford schools. Ms. Andreotti retired from the former First National Stores in Milford, where she was employed as a cashier. She was a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. 

Helen Andreotti, 95, of Milford, died Aug. 14 in the Genesis Healthcare in Milford. She was the wife of 47 years to the late Dr. Hugo Andreotti, a longtime dentist in the Milford area, who died in 1995. She was born in Milford, daughter of the late Anthony and Rose (Tosches) Perna and was a lifelong Milford resident. She was a graduate of the Milford High School class of 1936. Mrs. Andreotti helped with the bookkeeping in her husband’s dental office for many years.

Arthur J. “AJ” Luippold, 90, of Milford, died Aug. 11, following a brief stay in the Blaire House in Milford. Formerly of Everett, Boston, and Hyannis, he was born in Everett, the son of the late Arthur I. and Anna (Giggie) Luippold, was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School, class of 1942. AJ resided at Whitcomb House in Milford before his passing. AJ had worked for many years as a waiter at the Wayside Inn, in Sudbury, and the Paddock in Hyannis, as well as other restaurants, and thoroughly enjoyed entertaining patrons. He had served in the U. S. Army, during WWII, and was a former member of the Sacred Heart Choir in Milford, and enjoyed watching old movies and the news each evening.
