Obituaries: Henry Charzenski, David E. Larson Jr.

These residents and former residents of Milford have died recently.

Henry J. Charzenski, 90, of Milford, died July 12 at the Countryside Healthcare of Milford after a period of declining health, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Helen M. (Wojnoski) Charzenski who died in 1998. 

He was born in Salem, MA., the son of the late Alexander J. and the late Josephine (Pszenny) Charzenski before moving to Milford, MA. in 1925. Mr. Charzenski attended the Milford public schools as a young boy and was a WWII US Navy veteran. He retired from the Massachusetts State Department of Public Works in 1985. He also worked for the Milford Highway Department and the Milford Water Company. He was a life-time member of the Maspenock Rod & Gun Club in Milford and the Polish-American Social Club in Uxbridge. 

David E. Larson Jr., 51, of Milford, died, Thursday, July 18 at his home. He was born in Framingham, the son of David E. and Linda M. (Ford) Larson Sr. of Milford, and was a lifelong Milford resident. He was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1980. David worked for GEM Properties in Milford, doing maintenance and carpentry work. 

An avid hunter and fisherman, he was a member and served on the Board of Directors at the Nipmuc Rod & Gun Club. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Michael Larson of Milford, and Kimberly and her husband Thomas Patterson of Milford. Also survived by nephews Nicholas Patterson of Milford, Gage Larson of FL, and his niece Paige Trotta of Woonsocket, RI.
