Obituaries: Christine (Sherillo) Pilla, Jenny (Leo) Oliveri, Pauline (Lipsett) Webster

The following residents of Milford have died in recent days.

Christine M. (Sherillo) Pilla, 94, of Milford, passed away, Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, in her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Carmen J. Pilla who died in 1979. She was born in  Milford, daughter of the late Annibale and Arcangela (Orszinio) Sciarillo and was a lifelong Milford resident.  
She was educated in the Milford schools. Mrs. Pilla retired in 1985 from the former Anthony Roberts in Milford where she was employed as a salesperson. She was a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and a member of the Sacred Heart Women’s Club.

Jenny Y. (Leo) Oliveri, 92, of Milford, passed away, Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, in Blaire House of Milford. She was the wife of the late Leo E. Oliveri who passed away in 1994. She was born in Milford, daughter of the late Leonardo and Amelia (Bertoli) Leo and was a lifelong Milford resident. She was a graduate of the Milford High School class of 1939.
Mrs. Oliveri was employed for many years at the General Electric/Telecron in Ashland and the Milford Library. She enjoyed playing cards, Maj Jong, Bowling and spending time with her family and many friends. She also loved to cook and enjoyed baking for her friends and family.

Mrs. Pauline (Lipsett) Webster, 87, of Milford, died Wednesday (Dec. 18, 2013) at Genesis Center of Milford after a period of declining health. She is survived by her son: Retired Milford Police Officer Henry “Huck” Webster of Milford; her Daughter: Debbie Butcher and her husband Paul of CT; her Grandchildren: Lori Webster and Henry Webster III of Milford, Paul Butcher Jr. and his wife Joan of CT, Heidi Butcher Hamer and her husband Tom of Ohio; 4 Great Grandchildren: Gaby and Brandon DeJesus, Jayla and Jayden Webster Archival, all of Milford.
