Obituaries: Beryl Findeisen, Peter Macchi

Beryl K. (Knight) Findeisen, 88 , formerly of Milford, died Sunday Nov. 3, 2013 in the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston. She was the wife of the late Heinz H. Findeisen who died in 1992.
Mrs. Findeisen was born Aug. 2, 1925 in Sheffield, England, the daughter of the late 
John E. and Maud (Walker) Knight. Before coming to the United States, Beryl was a graduate of Teachers College in England and she enjoyed teaching. Beryl enjoyed music and loved reading and learning.

Peter R. Macchi, 87, of Milford, died Monday, Nov. 4, 2013 at the Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the widower of the late Jennie F. (Czerwonka) Macchi who died in 2000. 
Mr. Macchi was born in Milford, the son of the late Angelo and the late Felice (Morelli) Macchi and was a life-long Milford resident. He attended Milford public schools and graduated from Milford High School in 1944. 
He played baseball for the John W. Powers Post #59 American Legion and also played football for the Trojan semi-pro football team. He owned and operated the former Plains Taxi Company in Milford, was employed at the Perini Corporation in Framingham, and the former Seaver’s Express Co. in Milford for over (15) years.
