Obits: Former Pine Street Inn Volunteer, High School Teacher, Deli Manager

Obituaries from Holliston, Hopkinton and Milford from the past week.

Jacquelyn Lavoie, 72, died Tuesday, Feb. 19 at home with family by her side. She was the wife of Robert J. Lavoie Sr., to whom she was married for 52 years. Born in Salem, MA, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Blanche (Moulton) Irving. 

She was a 1958 graduate of Hopkinton High School, where she excelled in athletics. In later years she worked at the Hopkinton Public Library. She was a member of St. John’s Parish and the Hopkinton Historical Society, and volunteered at many charitable organizations including the Mustard Seed of Worcester and the Pine Street Inn in Boston.

Amy Y Butler, 42, of Holliston, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 13 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Hornell, New York, she is
the daughter of Janet and Richard Butler, both of New York. For 15 years she has been the partner and spouse of Lindsey Reichheld of Holliston. Loved by all, Amy was a teacher at Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School.

Edmond “Eddie V” Viera, 66,  died Monday Feb. 11, at home. Ed had been employed as the deli manager at Stop-n-Shop Supermarkets in Worcester, Hudson, and Milford for many years.  Mr. Viera was born in Pawtucket, RI the son of the late Mildred and William Viera. He enjoyed football, music, and had served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
