Maria A. Salvador: Milford Resident, Native of Portugal

Maria A. (Costa) Salvador, 64, of Milford passed away Sunday, April 6 in Portugal. She was the wife of Domingos D. Salvador of 32 years. She was born in Portugal, daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Coutinho) Costa and immigrated to Milford in 1967. She was a communicant of the St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church. 

In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter Maria and her husband Erick DeLeon of Milford, three brothers, Manuel Costa of Medford, Fernando Costa and his wife Helena of Milford, Simon Costa and his wife Ilda of Monteca CA, three sisters, Maria N. and her husband George Rua of Milford, Maria L. and her husband Abel Correia of Milford, Maria H. and her husband Chuck Reed of Milford, two grandchildren, Ashley DeLeon and Jeovany DeLeon both of Milford, many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Jose Costa.

A funeral will be held Tuesday, April 15 at 9 a.m. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at the St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church on Winter Street in Milford. The burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery on Cedar St. Milford. 

Calling hours will be held Monday from 5 to 8 p.m.
