Gaetano Bonina: Lifelong Milford Resident, Korean War Veteran
Services will be held in Milford on Thursday and Friday this week.
Gaetano D. "Guy" Bonina, Jr., 78, of Milford, passed away on Saturday, June 14, according to his obituary.
Born in Milford, he was a lifelong Milford resident, a graduate of the Milford High School Class of 1954 and a Korean War Army Veteran. He was also a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and a former volunteer fireman at the Milford Fire Department, a constable for the town and also worked the polls for annual elections.
A funeral will be held Friday, June 20 at 9 a.m. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St. in Milford. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main St. in Milford. Burial will follow. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 8 pm.
