Angelina M. Luchini: Milford Native, MHS Graduate

Angelina M. “Ann” (Veneziano) Luchini, 94, passed away April 18, 2014 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. She was the wife of Louis Luchini (USAF ret) who died in 1983. 

She was born in Milford, daughter of the late Flaminio and Josephine (Mussulli) Veneziano and lived in Milford for her first 29 years. She was a graduate of the Milford High School class of 1938.   

As the wife of an Air Force officer, Ann lived in many interesting places while raising their two children, including: Japan, Florida, Hawaii, and Missouri. When her children had left the nest, Ann took a job as a salesperson at a department store in St. Louis, MO. Later she was a salesperson at a gift shop in Vienna, VA. She retired in 1994. In 2004 she moved to Oregon to live with her son. In 2006 she moved to New Mexico where she lived with her daughter until her passing.   

Her two brothers, Alfred (Whitey) Veneziano and Matthew Veneziano predeceased her.  

She is survived by her daughter, Ann Luchini; her son, David Luchini; two grandchildren, Mark Luchini, and Eva Gutierrez-Luchini; two great-grandchildren; her two sisters-in-Law, Tootsie Veneziano and Josie Veneziano;  and many nieces and nephews.   

The funeral will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 9 a.m. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church in Milford. The burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford.   

Calling hours will be held at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
