Our first edition is coming out soon!

Our first edition (calling our shows “episodes” would call to mind too much the opening credits of Star Wars, as in Milford Performs – Episode IV:  A New Hope) has been recorded and will begin airing in early October.  The staff at Milford TV has been extremely helpful in putting together our show, and I especially want to thank Tyler Nasri, our intrepid director, for adding our show to his impressive roster of Milford TV shows on which he is either director or assistant director.

Tyler cannot be on every show so we need more folks to volunteer to learn how to help get Milford TV shows on the air.  Teens to seniors, male and female, check out Milford TV at http://milfordtv.net/ or call Liz McGaw at 508 488-6445 for a tour of the studio.

Dancers from the King Dance Academy of Milford grace our first show with four solo dances by (insert names here).  These talented girls were the very first dancers to be recorded in the Milford TV studio and Tyler did a great job in keeping the cameras on the dancers and their intricate footwork.  We also chat with Carleen Goldberg, founder and director of King Dance Academy, and her longtime student and assistant Ashley Lopes.  Fun fact – Ashley’s father taught Carleen how to tap dance, now Ashley works for Carleen teaching (among other dances) tap dancing!  Click to http://www.kingdanceacademy.com/ to learn more about King Dance Academy.

Justin & Ray are two guys, one guitar, and a Bucket of Beer!  Justin Redden and Ray Auger perform as a duo singing original songs (like my fave Bucket of Beer) and cover songs from Pearl Jam and Joe Cocker.  Ray is the well-known host of Living for the Weekend on Milford TV and WMRC-1490 AM radio, while Justin works in the decidedly more sedate world of IT at the Bancroft School in Worcester.
Justin & Ray will be performing at the upcoming Hopedale Oktoberfest (Saturday, October 5 at 4:00 PM at the Town Common bandstand).  Watch their performance on our show, then email them at kidcruise2003@yahoo.com to find out where and when their next live performance will be.

Coming to Milford Performs in November:  Wild and crazy kids, a polished professional, and a suspiciously familiar looking elephant.  Thanx for watching!
