The Milford Farmers Market is proud to announce that we will be running a FOOD DRIVE for the Milford Food Pantry for the next TWO SATURDAY Market days!
One of driving goals is a commitment to getting good food into the hands of our community members. Our Farmers Market has been extremely successful in getting fresh local produce and products to you in a convenient way but we know that many families, children, and seniors in our community are struggling to eat on shoestring budget. Those families who are struggling rely on the amazing work that our Milford Food Pantry does. The Milford Food Pantry has seen a steady rise in need over the last six months, with the economy down, and jobs not being as available as they were years ago. With this great need in our community, and with the holidays only a short ways in the future we wanted to do a food drive to help stock their shelves! We're hoping that you our fellow community members will help them feed those in need!
The FOOD DRIVE will take place at the Milford Farmers Market for the next two Saturdays (the 21st & 28th)! We are open from 9am-1pm next to Milford Town Hall.
Please come down and support not only your local farmers and small businesses but also the Milford Food Pantry!
