Milford, Nov. 14, 2013 — Milford 1490 AM Radio WMRC's Ed Thompson hosted a Foxwoods Casino Forum today at 7:00 AM.
I'd like to describe this discussion as nothing short of an enlightening information and clarification session.
I suggest you listen to it in its entirety, before you make your choice on Tuesday, November 19th.
The forum was attended by a large number of representatives of both proponents and opponents of the Foxwoods Casino project in Milford, as well as public servants and local authorities. Among the attendees were the leaders of the Anti-Casino group, John Seaver and Steve Trettel. Representing the project were David Nunes, the Chief Project Officer and Scott Butera, CEO of Foxwoods.
In attendance were, among others, State Senator Richard Moore, State Representative John Fernandes, Milford Selectman Brian Murray, Town Counsil Geral Moody, Milford Assessor Priscilla Hogan, Milford Water Company Manager David Condrey, TetraTech Engineer Sean Reardon, Milford Police Chief Thomas O'Loughlin and Milford Fire Chief John Touhey.
You can also listen to the entire forum at the WMRC Radio web site's (http://www.wmrcdailynews.com/) media center.
The forum lasted 2 hours and 15 minutes.
For your convenience, I have provided a copy of the recording of it on this post, as well as a convenient index, so you can jump back to the speaker or the subject you are interested in listening to again.
