What's Open on Christmas in Milford?
A partial list of what's open and closed on Christmas.
What's open on Christmas Day? A surprising number of stores and restaurants, actually. If you forgot something at the store, you just might be able to scramble out the door on Christmas Day and go get it.
Here is what we found is open, and what's closed.
Open: Dunkin' Donuts. Did you doubt it? The Dunkins in Milford will be open until noon on Christmas Day. After that, you're on your own, because Honey Dew Donuts will be closed on Christmas.
Open: CVS is open for regular hours, which means 24 hours at the 24-hour stores. At Walgreen's, the hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Day.
Closed: Supermarkets. And most are closing early on Christmas Eve. Shaw's closes at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, for example.
Closed: Government offices, and there will be no trash or recycling collection. Trash and recycling will be delayed a day the rest of the week, with Saturday as the catch-up day. Government offices will close early Tuesday, at 1 p.m. for the Milford town offices.
