What's Open and Closed on Veterans Day in Milford
Here are a few things to expect on this federal holiday.
1. Town Hall and state and federal offices will be closed today.
2. Town garbage and recycling will be picked up on schedule.
3. The Veterans Day Parade begins at 10 a.m. in Milford, and should last about an hour. Do expect temporary road closures facing Main and East Main streets.
4. Grocery stores are open.
5. Restaurants are open, and some will be providing a free meal Monday to veterans. Call ahead to check.
