What's Open and Closed on July 4th
Some retailers are open, some not, for the Fourth of July.
The Fourth of July holiday is observed by many retailers. When in doubt, call ahead. Here's what we know:
1. Milford trash will not be collected. This is one of the holidays observed by trash collectors. If your trash day is Thursday, put it out on Friday instead. If your trash goes out Friday, put it out Saturday.
2. All government offices are closed.
3. Retailers are a mixed bag. Dunkin Donuts is open, for example. But many retailers and restaurants closed early for the holiday. Morin Photo Studio is closed through the weekend. If in doubt, call ahead.
4. If you need frozen yogurt today, you are in luck. Yum Yum Froyo is open.
5. Fino Memorial Pool is closed. The Casey Memorial state pool is open, however.
