Uxbridge Seminary Student Raising Funds for Myanmar Trip
Liz Hoy is a seminary student raising funds for a trip.
An Uxbridge woman has created a fundraising account to help fund her planned trip to Myanmar.
"This trip is a part of my seminary experience, and is a once in a life time opportunity," explained Liz Hoy, on her page. "I'm looking forward to this opportunity and can't wait to share what I learn with all of you."
So far, she has raised $250 toward a goal of $3,000. She recently posted an update, and explained that she's been getting some of the required vaccines for the trip.
Myanmar is in Southeast Asia, and was formerly known as Burma.
