Friend of Man Recovering from Motorcycle Crash Creates a Public Fund

A friend of a couple affected by a serious motorcycle crash in Mendon has created a GoFundMe site.

In October, Richard (Rudy) Johnson was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash in Mendon and has had multiple surgeries since, primarily to try to save his leg, according to a recent post on the public funding page, GoFundMe.

His girlfriend, a hairdresser in Bellingham, is a longtime friend of Kiley Turner of Bellingham, who created the page. She is trying to help out her friends, who have had financial problems due to the resulting loss of work.

"On top of their normal monthly bills there are now many medical bills which insurance does not fully cover," Turner wrote. "Please donate and help Danielle and Rudy during their time of need."
