Montessori Education Week!

"The Montessori Circle of Light; A Systems Approach - What is Unique about Montessori and How is it Relevant Today?"

Montessori schools around the country will be celebrating Montessori Education Week February 23rd to 27th. Locally, the Millis Public Library will be the location for an information night, “The Montessori Circle of Light; A Systems Approach - What is Unique about Montessori and How is it Relevant Today?” on Monday February 23rd at 6:30.

International teacher trainer, Charles Tarranova will be in Millis to share with parents The Montessori approach to educating children. Over 100 years ago, Maria Montessori constructed a systematic theory of educating children. This system has had at its center the child from its first stirrings. Montessori is an approach to education that celebrates and nurtures each child’s intrinsic desire to learn.

Woodside Montessori Academy, 350 Village St in Millis will be hosting an Open House on Wednesday February 25th 9:30-11 for prospective families and students who would like to get information about preschool, kindergarten, elementary or middle school. Faculty, parents, students and alumni will be available for questions and to give tours. Please join us to see how a Montessori environment can meet your child’s needs developmentally; academic, social and emotional.
