Alternatives’ Greater Milford Advisory Council will be hosting an afternoon of free, family fun on Oct. 19 (rain date, October 26), at Milford Town Park. The Whiskey Church and Velvet Skies 80s cover bands will rock the park and a host of activities - including a moonwalk, face painting and a Halloween costume contest for both children and adults – will be offered.
Milford Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will also be offering refreshments. The fun will be happening between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM, with the Halloween costume contest starting at 3:00 PM.
This fun family oriented event is free, but donations are welcome. All proceeds will support Alternatives’ services in the Milford area and the Milford Schools’ special education programs!
