MILFORD LIONS CLUB BREAKFAST WITH SANTA

The Milford Lions Club will hold its annual pancake breakfast on Sunday, December 2nd, 2012 from 8-11:30 a.m., at the Milford High School Cafeteria.

Santa will be on hand for pictures with children and to collect their Christmas wish lists. He will be joined by the Milford Lions' mascot, Leonardo the Lion, and Steve Nelson, a former New England Patriots linebacker, who will be available for photos and autographs. Nelson was an all-Pro three times in the 1980s, and led the 1985 team to the Super Bowl.

Seasonal music will be provided by the Milford Woodland School Chorus and Milford Strings. Activities will include children's face painting, balloons, and games. There will be great raffle prizes, too. Tickets are $4.00 per person and will be available at the door; there is no charge for children under the age of 4.

Each year proceeds from the breakfast are donated throughout the year to Massachusetts Eye Research; disadvantaged Milford families; the Clara Barton Camp; and Joslin Diabetes Center, which helps children who suffer from diabetes. Milford Lions Club also provides scholarships for graduating Milford High School seniors.
