A winter weather advisory was put into effect until 1 p.m. Sunday for Milford and other parts of southern Worcester County.
The National Weather Service predicted snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches, with wind gusts of up to 45 miles per hour. The snow was expected to fall through mid-afternoon; Monday is predicted to be free of precipitation.
