Midtown fitness is a great place to work out! Their equipment is up to date and their classes are so much fun! I look forward to spin class every weekend. The bikes are awesome and the teachers really know how to run the classes.

I have been a Jazzercise member for many years. I have belonged to several other fitness centers in the past, but won't ever change again. I love the instructors, the classes, and the weight room. They are even offering "specialty" classes such as Boot Camp, Pilates and Yoga. The instructors all bring their own personalities to the classes, and the music selections change frequently to keep up with the popular songs. They offer many convenient class times, and childcare during most classes, so I have no excuse not to go and dance my way to health. You are never too old, too young, to heavy or too unfit to take a class. You can tailor each class to your own needs—high impact, low impact, sitting on an exercise ball, or modifying floor exercises due to physical limitations, what ever it takes to have fun and exercise. The instructors will guide you through you all. I know I am hooked!

Mid-Town Family Fitness gets my vote! I think the main reason is the comfort level I feel there. I really never feel self conscious at Mid-Townn like I have at other gyms. The atmosphere isn't one of competition or the show-off "look at me!" type -- everyone is supportive of each other from the members to the staff (not to say that the staff won't give you a good verbal nudge when they catch you slacking!) The age range of people who are members covers every age. The other thing I like is the variety of classes. In one week, I can easily fit in a few spin classes, a yoga class, a few weight classes and maybe a zumba class or a step class if I'm really motivated.

For the money, I'd pick Planet Fitness. Very reasonable. A gym is what you make of it. Why pay twice as much at Mid Town or Gold's?

Jazzercise Milford is amazing!! I've been going for about 3 years now and never experienced the results I've seen with jazzercise! With lots of classes to choose from and instructors who genuinely care about your individual progress and satisfaction jazzercise Milford is number one!!

Mid-town's a great all around club, the staff is great & facility is top notch! Unfortunately I don't need everything they have to offer. Can't beat Planet Fitness $10/month....where else can you own (use) a $3500 piece of cardio equipment (Elliptical or ARC Trainer) for $2.50 a week - the price of a cup of coffee : )

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Jazzercise!!! I have been going for over 5 years and never get bored... The music and routines change every 10 weeks and offer so many classes you have no excuse not to make one of them... They offer child watch and a weight room. You can even work 2 hrs and get the membership free and the staff is very nice!!! Just give it a try to see if it's for you and once you are there you will want to join. The room is large and the instructor is on the stage so you can follow them and have a microphone guiding you through every move. So much fun!!!

Marie, Mid-Town is the benchmark for all the other gyms in the area. My oldest & most his buddies still go there when they're home from college. You guys are very flexable by offering them very accomodating memberships that fit thier needs - thanks!
