Severe Thunderstorm Warning in Effect for Southeastern Worcester Co.
Strong thunderstorms are moving through the area.
The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for an area of Massachusetts and Rhode Island that includes southernmost Worcester County.
At 3:09 p.m., the weather service issued the warning for northwestern Brisol County, Northeastern Providence County and extreme southeastern Worcester County. The warning is in effect until 4 p.m.
According to the weather service, Doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter-siz hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph was located near Woonsocket, RI and moving east at 30 mph.

So far, power outages have not affected Milford, but are concentrated in other areas, including Worcester.
