Meet Ian, First Baby of 2012
Ian Michael Cooley, born at 1:48 a.m. on New Year's Day, is the first baby of the year born at Milford Regional Medical Center.
Michael and Deborah Cooley were expecting his arrival a few days ago, but the delayed entrance meant some early fame for their third child.

Ian is 7 pounds, 15 ounces, and is 21 inches long. He slept while his parents posed for some photos. The baby is the couple's third child. He joins 3-year-old Cameron and 1-year-old Mackenzie. The Cooleys live in Bellingham.

Initially, they were expecting their baby on the 29th. So, no tax deduction this year, but a New Year's baby instead.
