Hurricane Sandy: Milford Info Center

Trash and recycling are being collected in Milford Tuesday; it it's your day, take it out to the curb.

Amtrak service is not yet moving, but the MBTA is back up and running, the governor announced at 10:15 a.m.

A large tree that was blocking one lane of Route 140 (north), just into Upton, has been removed.

Milford schools will be closed Tuesday, following Hurricane Sandy, as will Blackstone Valley Tech in Upton.

The Milford Youth Center also will be closed.

Milford Town Hall is expected to reopen Tuesday. The Milford District Court was expected to reopen at noon.
