Fundraisers Offer Opportunity for Fun

The weekend's coming and you need some ideas.

There's lots going on, including several fundraisers, a show featuring local artists and more. Check our picks for weekend fun.

1.

Where/When: , 24 Pearl St, Milford. Saturday, 6 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Why Go: Dine and dance at the youth center's primary fundraiser. There will be a DJ, catering and lots of cool raffle items. 

Pricing: $35 per person

Where/When: , 119 Prospect Hts, Milford. Saturday, 7 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Why Go: Sponsored by the Milford Junior Woman's Club, this event features two comedians as well as a DJ and raffles.   

Pricing: $25 per person; limited ticket sales at the door.

Where/When: , 17 Willow St, Westborough. Saturday, 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Why Go: This benefit show features The Bruce Mandaro Band with special guest, a cash bar and raffles. The money raised will help fund LLS's mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Music starts at 8 p.m.

Pricing: $10 suggested donation.

Where/When: , 18 Lyman St., Westborough. Sunday, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. 

Why Go: The Shrewsbury Art Guild Show features several local artists.

Pricing: Free.

 Where/When: American Legion Post 92, 69 Worcester St, Grafton. Sunday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Why Go: Celebrate St. Patrick's Day early with a traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner.

Pricing: $9.
