First Snow? Say it Ain't So [Poll]

Meteorologists are forecasting a possible dusting of snow Thursday, an earlier first snow than in recent years.

The National Weather Service is forecasting a chance of snow Thursday, an earlier turn toward winter than many had expected.

The forecast is for rain Thursday before midnight, then possibly turning to snow overnight. Between a quarter-inch and a half-inch is possible, not much.

Saturday brings another prospect of snow.

What do you think of snow in October? Vote in the poll and then tell us in the comments.
